TRACE is a racing game and a record of the city, made by one person, by hand, in public.

The streets and the buildings are real. They come from open data and get checked and filled in on foot over time. There is no algorithm here and no feed. Just a catalog that grows, and a car that drives through it.

The game is the trace of the line. The wiki is the trace of the history, who built each place, whose money, which firm, which lodge. Chicago is the first city. It is not the only one.

Most of the wiki is still blank. That is the point. You can watch it fill.
